In an attempt to get my planner to "support" me through the semester, I have "personalized" it but also I have space above every month and week to put a quote of some sort of inspiration.

So....got any you think I'd like? Song lyrics (either Japanese or translated or both), book quotes, etc... just make sure that they're no longer than one line (I know, that makes it hard, huh)?

I think my iPod is dying. After I charge it, it plays seven songs before the battery is a thin red line (._.) oh noez!!

I'm doing this because
a) I want to make things up to THSK/DBSK for not being around and
b) I like having the Japanese and English underneath each other. I have having to scroll around for the line that I'm looking at (or is that just me?)
c) Because I'm learning Japanese with their songs (no, really)
for example:
I know the word ゆうき yuuki means courage from the drama "Mahou Sentai MagiRanger"
I know the particle が ga from Japanese class
and I know the verb ほしい want from my Japanese coach game.
So! While listening to "Begin" I heard the phrase:
ゆうきがほしい I want to have courage
and completely understood it without needing to find a translation.
EPIC WIN.

Note about the kanji: I'm only using the kanji I know. so for the rest of it, hiragana is the way to go. Hope you don't mind?

Note about who sings what: I'm doing this part with help from the video. Since I can't tell who sings when because I'm lame like that.

Note about how I'm breaking up the lines: thanks to the video over at worldvidz I'm following the way that they have it laid out. Hope it's not too confusing.

Happy Birthday, Nino-kun!

I'm so glad I discovered you and your group Arashi.

You because we're alike [at least I think so?]: we're both older than what we look, game [blue DS, baby!], thin, and are sarcastic. And when we smile....it's amazing. Of course, we have a little language barrier but I'm working on that. And, I can speak/read/write a lot more Japanese than I could a year ago. Not that we'll ever meet but it's nice to know that I'm learning more about Japan and with it, I can relate to you more. Sure, it sounds stalker-ish, but I mean it sincerely. Eventually I'll watch Ryusei no Kizuna. As for your other acting projects: Marathon; Door to Door; Yamada Tarou Monogatari; Sukoshi wa, ongaeshi ga dekitakana; Letters from Iwo Jima ... it's amazing the things you're able to do. I wish you many more happy birthdays to come.

Arashi because, let's face it, you boys got talent. And the way you're all so humble and modest about the whole thing really makes me love you even more. Eventually I'll get around to supporting you boys. But for now YouTube is my source. That's what I get for liking so many artists (in both Korea and Japan). Congrats on the ten years in Sept 15, boys, you deserve it.

Found a used copy of The World Ends With You for $18 yesterday when mum dragged me to the mall to get out and walk around. I have a week to turn it back it for a full refund if I don't like it but I don't think that'll happen. Because it's awesome. And I'm good at it. Or at least now, where it's the beginning I'm good. Although that last Noise took a good 30 minutes to beat but whatever. It's nice. But can Square Enix NOT make a main character that isn't as angsty and emo? Seriously. Every main character I've played has been all "....I hate people" thing. Sora not included of course.

A lot of people have defriended me lately. I completely understand why. For the past four months I have not replied to comments or to entries so I understand and yet I continue to post which can be frustrating, I bet. I got THE SECRET CODE yesterday.
I've skimmed through most of it, not really sitting down to listen to it.
I kinda don't like it.
Especially that I spent $32 on it when I could've gotten TIME or something else by Arashi (but back in January when I pre-ordered THE SECRET CODE I didn't know of Arashi).
But maybe once I give it a good listen to I'll feel better.

One little compliment can make you feel great. So give me a compliment, anything in the entire world, even that my shoelaces are pretty. Put this in your journal. Once you get some comments, put that entry in a memory or tag and when you are feeling down, just go to that entry and this will remind you how great you are.
